Such an historic change
would be the ultimate revolution,
– giving man, finally,
dominion over his own life.

No one knows man’s potential, because
he has never had the means to seek it.
He has been brutalized by endless wars,
and has had the rewards of his work drained
from him unendingly by taxes and inflation
– since history began.

The idea that someone else has the right to decide
if a man shall be forced to give his life in war,
or shall be forced to give over what he has earned
to support ideas that he thinks are wrong,
is a direct denial of that which makes him
a man and not an animal, his free will.

Each man has a moral right to make
his own choice between good and evil
and to abide by the consequences.

Man is capable of self-government.
